Welcome to UQTBrowser (the “Software”). The Software is developed and operated by Xingning UQi E-commerce Information Consulting Service Department (“UQTBrowser,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy before downloading, installing, signing in to, or using the Software.
1. Services
UQTBrowser is a Chromium-based Windows browser that provides web browsing, an AI agent, multi-protocol downloads, PDF tools, offline OCR, accounts, and optional sync. Some features may be in testing, rolled out in phases, or depend on third parties. Your installed version and the client interface determine what is currently available.
The browser core is free. The official AI service, cloud sync, or other value-added services may require an account, subscription, or token/usage-based payment.
2. AI agent and authorization
The AI agent can generate content and, under a permission level you select, invoke browser, local-file, command-line, software-management, and desktop tools. You understand and agree that:
- The AI runs within the current Windows user’s privileges, website permissions, and product security controls. It receives no extra administrator or third-party authorization.
- When you approve or allow an action, you authorize the Software to perform the corresponding steps for the current task. Review targets, file paths, accounts, amounts, and potential impact.
- You must personally complete CAPTCHAs, QR sign-in, two-factor authentication, and identity checks. Do not ask the AI to defeat or bypass security controls.
- Unsandboxed commands, software or skill installation, irreversible deletion, large-scope data changes, and other high-risk actions may require individual approval even under a more automated permission level.
- You may stop a task or reduce permission at any time. Stopping does not guarantee that a request already sent to a third party can be withdrawn.
3. Accounts, AI Pro, and billing
- Use lawful sign-in methods and protect your account and devices. Do not mass-register, transfer, rent, share, or use accounts to evade limits and safeguards.
- The official AI service requires an active entitlement or available tokens. Models, prices, allowances, billing units, and availability may change and are shown before purchase or in the client.
- Model usage may include input, output, cached, or reasoning usage. Final charges follow authoritative upstream usage and the applicable server-side billing rules.
- Applicable prices and entitlements are shown before purchase. Refund, cancellation, and expiration terms are governed by the purchase screen, payment-provider rules, and applicable law. Services already consumed cannot always be restored to an unused state.
- Upstream capacity, networks, maintenance, or third parties can temporarily interrupt service. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, no model is guaranteed to remain permanently available.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Software or AI services to:
- violate applicable law, infringe rights, distribute malware, or access systems without authorization;
- bypass CAPTCHAs, access controls, payment restrictions, website rules, permission gates, or usage limits;
- download, distribute, or process content you have no right to use;
- interfere with services, abuse interfaces at scale, or probe or attack our or third-party systems; or
- reverse engineer proprietary components beyond rights granted by applicable open-source licenses or law.
5. Downloader, PDF, and OCR
- The download manager provides protocol and task-management capabilities. It does not guarantee the legality, integrity, safety, or continued availability of third-party files. Use trusted sources and verify signatures and hashes.
- Connection count and speed depend on source servers, network conditions, source health, and protocol limits. More connections do not guarantee faster downloads.
- PDF conversion, OCR, generated scripts, and batch processing may contain formatting or recognition errors. Review important legal, financial, medical, archival, or contractual documents and keep originals.
- You must have the right to process, convert, download, or upload the applicable files and content.
6. Third-party services and content
At your direction, the Software may connect to websites, sign-in platforms, payment services, AI providers, software sources, BitTorrent/ED2K networks, and other third parties. Those parties control their content, pricing, availability, and data practices. Their terms also apply.
7. Intellectual property and open source
- “UQTBrowser,” “优启通AI浏览器,” product interfaces, branding, and our proprietary components are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
- Chromium and other open-source components remain governed by their original licenses, which are provided with the Software or source code as applicable.
- These Terms do not restrict rights expressly granted by an applicable open-source license.
8. AI output, risk, and responsibility
AI output is probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Do not treat it as final legal, medical, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
The Software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for third-party websites or services, network interruptions, model errors, incorrect user authorization, missing backups, or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
9. Updates, suspension, and termination
- We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, compatibility, legal, or business reasons.
- An unsigned build or a build explicitly marked for internal testing is not a public stable release.
- We may lawfully restrict, suspend, or terminate service if you violate these Terms or create a security risk.
- You may stop using the Software and close your account through available client options. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel independent third-party accounts or transactions.
10. Changes to these Terms
We will update the effective date and provide notice on this page, in the browser, or through another reasonable method when changes are material. Where the law requires renewed consent, we will request it before the change takes effect.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes informally. Where permitted by law, unresolved disputes will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction where the operator is located. Non-waivable consumer rights under the law where you live are not limited by this section.
