  • Anonymous stats
  • Account & sync
  • AI data flow
  • Local tools
  • Your rights

Xingning UQi E-commerce Information Consulting Service Department (“UQTBrowser,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your personal information and privacy. This Policy applies to UQTBrowser, account and sync services, the official AI service, and websites directly associated with the product.

In short: ordinary web browsing does not send the sites you visit, search terms, or form entries to us merely because you opened a page. Data is processed when you actively use an account, sync, AI, feedback, or another network-enabled feature, as described below.

1. Scope and roles

This Policy covers data we process as the product operator. Third-party websites, model providers, payment providers, software sources, and services you choose or configure also process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

2. Anonymous installation and version statistics

After you accept the Terms and this Policy, anonymous installation statistics are enabled by default. On first run, and no more than once per day afterward, the browser may send:

  • a randomly generated installation identifier and the UQTBrowser version; and
  • device manufacturer and model, OS name, version and build, and system architecture.

We use this information to measure installations, active-version distribution, device compatibility, and upgrade issues. The server stores only a SHA-256 digest of the random identifier, not the original identifier, and does not write the request IP address into the installation-statistics record.

Installation statistics do not include: URLs, browsing history, search terms, web form content, account passwords, MAC addresses, disk or motherboard serial numbers, or advertising identifiers.

You can turn off “Send anonymous installation and version statistics” in Settings → Privacy and Security. Turning it off stops future reports and requests deletion of the corresponding installation record, without disabling core browser functions.

3. Account, sync, and security data

  • Account data: processed only when you choose to sign in. WeChat QR sign-in is provided through the WeChat Open Platform. Login passwords use one-way hashing and layered safeguards and are not stored in a decryptable form.
  • Sync data: selected bookmarks, settings, tabs, or other items are uploaded only when you enable sync.
  • Password sync: standard accounts use layered AES-256-GCM managed encryption with an independent key per account. The cloud stores encrypted data and processes it only through strictly authorized, fully audited recovery workflows. When enterprise end-to-end encryption is explicitly enabled, keys remain on user devices and the service cannot decrypt the content.
  • Service security: we may process necessary request times, API status, account events, and billing events to prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect accounts. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising profiles.

4. Information processed when you use AI

Task content enters an AI request only when you send a message or ask the AI to act. Depending on the task, it may include:

  • your prompt, conversation context, and feedback;
  • files, images, screenshots, or transcribed audio you choose to attach;
  • relevant page text, page structure, tool results, command output, or file excerpts needed to complete the task; and
  • model selection, token usage, error status, and billing records.

This information is sent to the AI service you select or configure. That may be our official AI gateway and its upstream model providers, or a compatible endpoint you configure yourself. Processing location, retention, and use for model improvement may also be governed by the selected provider’s policy. Do not submit passwords, secret keys, identity documents, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless strictly necessary and appropriate.

When the AI uses a local tool, the tool runs on your device. Necessary tool output may still be included in later AI context so the model can decide what to do next. You can stop a task, reduce permissions, or choose not to use AI.

5. Local PDF, OCR, and download tools

The offline OCR capabilities described on this site can run locally. Ordinary PDF tools and download tasks are also primarily processed on your device. If you ask the AI to analyze a document, screenshot, download result, or file, the AI data flow in Section 4 applies.

Source servers, BitTorrent peers, trackers, or ED2K networks may observe information necessary to establish a network connection, such as an IP address and request metadata. We do not independently control those networks.

6. Payments and subscriptions

When you purchase AI Pro or tokens, we and our payment providers process data necessary to complete the transaction and provide entitlements, such as order number, product, amount, payment status, and account entitlement. Full payment credentials are handled by the payment provider; do not enter them into an AI conversation.

7. Third-party services

At your direction, the product may connect to sign-in platforms, cloud infrastructure, payment services, AI providers, websites and content sources, software package sources, and peer-to-peer networks. Specific providers may vary by region, model, and feature. Review the provider shown in the client and its policy.

8. Location, security, and retention

  • Our account, sync, anonymous-statistics, and official-service data is primarily processed in the People’s Republic of China.
  • Transport uses HTTPS; password sync uses the managed-encryption or enterprise end-to-end mode described above.
  • We use access controls, data minimization, and log review, but no system can promise absolute security.
  • We retain data only as long as necessary for the applicable purpose, legal obligations, disputes, or security, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

If you configure an AI provider in another country or region, task data may be transferred to and processed where that provider operates.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may disable anonymous statistics and sync, review or update account information, stop an AI task, close your account, and ask us to access, correct, delete, or explain our processing of personal information. We may need to verify identity and clarify the scope before responding.

10. Children

The product is primarily intended for adults. Children under 14 should use it only with a parent or guardian’s consent and guidance. We do not knowingly direct personalized advertising to children. Contact us if a child’s data was submitted improperly.

11. Changes

If our data practices change materially, we will update this page and provide notice in the browser or through another reasonable method. The effective date and version appear at the top.
