Operational features

Recovery behavior, protocol coverage, and verification details often matter more in real workloads.
Pause or restart the browser and continue managing tasks; source-server behavior ultimately determines whether byte-level resume succeeds.
Recover from transient network errors and reduce the chance of restarting large files from the beginning.
Inspect MD5, SHA-256, and CRC32 and compare them with values from a trusted publisher.

The manager retrieves and tracks files; it cannot decide whether third-party content is lawful, authentic, or free of malware. Download from trusted sources, verify signatures and hashes, and comply with copyright, website terms, and local law.
